Acrylic Trays

How they're made

An acrylic tray is constructed of two layers, made from a 4mm acrylic sheet, which is then moulded to the desired shape, using a vacuum form process. The acrylic requires strength, which is supplied by applying GRP (Fibre Glass Reinforcement Process) evenly to the underside. Finally a baseboard is added for extra stability and for installing the leg supports. Please Note: The leg supports and panel are sold separately as they will not be required in every installation.

How to look after them

After use, your shower unit should be cleaned with soap and water. This is particularly important in hard water districts where insoluble lime salts may be deposited on the product.
